This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of Map Matcher ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you access or play Map Matcher (the "Service"). You can play Map Matcher as a guest without providing any personal information. If you create an account, you can sign in with Google, Facebook, or email, and we receive basic profile information from those providers, such as your name and email address. We also store the nickname you choose and gameplay data such as scores, sessions, and stats.
We do not use cookies ourselves. When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in across visits. This data stays on your device and is not shared with other players. If you are shown ads as described in Section 4, our advertising partner may set its own cookies or similar technologies.
Guest players and players on our free plan are shown ads (served via Google AdSense) during training (solo) matches. Signed-in players on a paid plan do not see ads. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure these ads; you can review how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not otherwise use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not track your activity across other websites or apps ourselves.
We use the information we collect to operate the Service, maintain your account, keep track of your progress and stats, and communicate with you about the Service when necessary.
We share information with our hosting provider, which is necessary to run the Service. If we launch paid subscriptions, billing will be handled directly by a third-party payment processor; we will not store your payment details ourselves. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else.
We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the Service, or by emailing us at mapmatchergame@gmail.com.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at mapmatchergame@gmail.com.
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Map Matcher after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
