These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Map Matcher ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the Map Matcher website and game (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or playing Map Matcher, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Map Matcher is operated by an individual based in Brazil, not a company. You can reach us at mapmatchergame@gmail.com with any questions, requests, or complaints about the Service.
Map Matcher is a multiplayer geography game where players compete to identify locations on a map before time runs out. Sessions can be joined as a guest or via an authenticated account.
You may play as a guest without creating an account, or create an account to save your progress and identity across sessions. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and promptly update it if it changes.
We may offer paid subscriptions that unlock additional features of the Service. Subscriptions do not include a free trial; charges begin as soon as you subscribe. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We may change subscription pricing from time to time and will give you reasonable notice of any change before it applies to you.
The Service does not sell physical or digital goods, products, or items. The only paid offering is the subscription described above, which grants access to features of the Service rather than ownership of any good.
The Service does not allow users to upload or post content such as text, images, or other files. Aside from basic profile information (such as a nickname), you cannot contribute content that is displayed to other players.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, you agree that we may use and implement them in any way, including commercially, without any obligation to compensate or credit you.
The Map Matcher name, logo, visual design, and all other trademarks, branding, and creative assets used in the Service are our exclusive property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.
We may, from time to time, offer promotions, contests, or sweepstakes. Each will be governed by its own specific rules, which will be made available when the promotion is offered and will form part of these Terms for the duration of that promotion.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt sessions, exploit bugs, access the Service through automated or non-human means, or interfere with other players' ability to play fairly.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a way that could harm us or other players.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Brazil.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Map Matcher after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
